Farewell to DJ AM

Yesterday at 5:23 p.m. DJ AM (Born Adam Goldstein) Was found dead in his SoHo Apartment. The cause is believed to be due to an overdose. His body was found face down by a friend of Goldstein's. The police described that in the apartment was a bottle of prescription drugs and a crack pipe. The exact cause of death has yet to be confirmed and no foul play is believed to be involved in the incident. DJ AM Found his big break when his band Crazy Town released its hit single "Butterfly" in 2001. AM's abilities as a DJ sent him around the world and as his popularity grew so did his shoe collection. DJ AM had an approximate number of 1,000 pairs of sneakers. The brands that he collected were mainly Nike, Addidas, and Reeboxs. The artist came close to death in 2008 when a small plane from South Carolina failed to have a successful take off. Four people died while DJ AM and Travis Barker (Blink 182 drummer) were in critical condition. His brush with death was short lived and now we have to say goodbye to another fallen artists.
